AHEAD is searching for a dynamic and meticulous Manager of Process Optimization to join our operations team and elevate our commitment to excellence. As a leader in innovative IT lifecycle management, we're continually refining our processes to deliver high quality, unparalleled client experiences through operational excellence, data-driven innovation, efficiencies, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will focus on organizing and managing process optimization within all functions of operations including sales, quoting, procurement, logistics, and order management. You will resolve issues at their core and foster a proactive culture of quality processes that render positive client outcomes.
Your strong analytical skills and previous experience in project management, operations, quality management systems, system integration and/or implementation will be leveraged to bring organization and structure to process optimization. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify processes for improvement, map processes, analyze inefficiencies, re-design the process, implement changes, alert affected personas, and monitor for effectiveness. You will focus on rendering a data-driven analysis of critical functions that will result in an ability for our departments to generate KPI's for leadership to monitor effectiveness of processes.
This highly influential role presents an exciting opportunity to establish and implement key quality systems and processes from the ground up. We're seeking a proactive implementer, someone eager to build and shape our core continuous improvement strategies and systems. You will have significant influence in defining how process development is managed and continuously improved within our operations team.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develop structure around the process optimization function, particularly a systematic way of identifying areas of improvement through to developing, implementing, and monitoring the optimization initiative
  • Organize subject matter experts ("SMEs") and cross functional groups to collect inputs
  • Host productive meetings with agendas and action items
  • Hold others accountable in a productive manner for their contributions to the initiatives
  • Identify inefficiencies within current state processes and gather recommendations of SMEs for improvements to develop final recommendations
  • Exhibit rigor in establishing timelines for initiatives, with specific action items and owners, and report on process optimization project statuses
  • Gather requirements and identify dependencies with other work streams
  • Produce documentation, tools, and training to support the adoption of new processes
  • Manage backlog of process optimization initiatives
  • Implement tools to collect and measure relevant data to produce a data-driven analysis of effectiveness of process optimization initiatives
  • Analyze KPIs related to process quality, using data-driven insights to drive operational improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports, clearly communicating insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Foster and embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout operations, proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to quality.
What Does this Candidate Look Like?
  • Experience in a process optimization role or quality management role
  • Experience in project management with meticulous organization and structure
  • Knowledge and professional working experience with the processes involving quote to cash and procure to pay
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively across multiple departments including purchasing, sales operations, supply chain, and customer service
  • Self-starter and innate desire to understand the "why"
  • Ability to build trust with honest, forward moving dialogue
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment while also being able to independently organize and execute action items
  • Ability to organize and execute through competing priorities and demands
  • Exceptional analytical skills, able to interpret KPIs and transform data into actionable strategies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with an ability to demonstrate business justifications/requirements
Education
  • Minimum Required -
  • 7+ years of relevant position experience
  • Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree, Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Operations or Professional Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001, TQM, etc.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings ("OTE") for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
