GuidePoint is seeking a strategic, hands-on, Google Cloud Practice Lead to drive the growth, delivery quality, and innovation of our GCP-focused professional services. This leadership role combines technical depth with business acumen, requiring someone who can lead delivery teams, build new service offerings, and strengthen our relationship with Google as a partner. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of security assessments and implementation services across all GCP services and Google Workspace.
- Ensure delivery excellence through effective project oversight, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and develop new service offerings aligned with emerging GCP capabilities and customer needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to build go-to-market strategies and support pre-sales activities.
- Work closely with the Vendor Relations Management team to grow and optimize the Google partnership.
- Stay informed of Google's roadmap, certifications, funding programs, and co-selling opportunities.
- Partner with other practice leads (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, DevOps) to develop integrated, cross-platform services and solutions.
- Mentor and guide technical consultants, architects, and engineers within the practice.
- Champion knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration across service lines.
- Stay informed of Google's roadmap, certifications, funding programs, and co-selling opportunities.
- Familiarity with industry and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, CSA CCM, PCI DSS, HITRUST) and risk-based security assessment approaches.
- Represent the practice in industry events, webinars, and partner forums.
- Stay ahead of trends and provide internal enablement on GCP security, DevSecOps, and Workspace best practices.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in IT consulting, cloud services, or professional services delivery
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services
- Experience leading enterprise security engagements for GCP and Google Workspace
- Proven success in building and growing cloud service offerings and practice areas
- Experience managing technical teams and leading complex delivery engagements
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive presentation skills
