Manager, Marketing Production
Salary Range: $126,818 - $196,568 The expected pay range is based on many factors, such as experience, education, and the market. The range is subject to change. FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Marketing & Communications Reports To: Director, Marketing & Communications GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Manager, Marketing Production provides leadership, management and vision necessary to develop, strengthen, and monitor SCFHP's digital and print communications and ensure efficient and effective production & fulfillment services in support of departmental and organizational objectives and in compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, SCFHP policies and procedures, and business requirements. The Manager, Marketing Production is responsible for overseeing Supervisor, Production Services, Marketing Production Project Manager, Graphic Design Project Managers, and Marketing Coordinator. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below satisfactorily.
Develop overall branding and fulfillment strategies that align with the marketing & communication strategy and are consistent with SCFHP priorities, legislative/regulatory requirements, and the external customer and competitive environment. Manage creative, production, and quality monitoring process for print and digital materials from inception to implementation in support of departmental objectives and regulatory requirements working with both internal and external stakeholders, as required. Manage creative strategy for website, intranet, apps and portal systems including maintenance and compliance with accessibility and regulatory requirements in collaboration stakeholders to improve the user experience. Lead production of monthly marketing deliverables, e.g. Provider Directories, ensuring successful handoffs to end users. Develop and manage SCFHP brand by overseeing in-house and external graphic design services, developing creative materials, and implementing and maintaining brand standards and templates. Develop and maintain effective dashboard systems to track all marketing pieces, and fulfillment and production services materials, including associated costs, and manage contracts, analyze data to determine effectiveness and prepare reports for management review. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure ticketing system is used to collect accurate and complete information. Develop reports and analyze data from ticketing system to support departmental goals and objectives. Manage internal and external fulfillment and mailroom functions, including vendor management, to ensure regulatory compliance, maximize efficiency, and minimize costs. Develop, propose, and implement departmental goals and objectives; in addition, prepare and maintain required departmental plans, appropriate milestone charts, and related schedules. Support marketing deliverables for events and provide strategic direction for development and selection of event collateral, giveaways, and supplies. Oversee maintenance of production services equipment, software, and usage records in collaboration with IT. Develop, maintain, and use policies and procedures, operating instructions and tools needed to support departmental activities. Provide input to annual budgeting process and monitor performance to budget. Identify areas of risk. Analyze and track compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements; monitor new requirements and update required documents accordingly. Attend and actively participate in department meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions. Identify issues, trends, and opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and/or cost, or to better assist departments; develop and implement recommendations relative to identified issues, trends, and opportunities. Attend offsite meetings or events as necessary. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT RESPONSBILITIES Carries out supervisory/management responsibilities in accordance with SCFHP's policies, procedures, applicable regulations and laws. Responsibilities include:

REQUIREMENTS - Required (R) Desired (D) The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required or desired.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience, training, or coursework. (R) Minimum five years of experience with duties and responsibilities as described above. (R) Minimum three years of leadership/supervisory/management experience. (R) Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships to organize and lead cross-functional teams. (R) Knowledge of current marketing communications trends, strategies, practices, and tools. Strong computer skills including fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience writing and managing complex documents including use of styles, bookmarks, and other document setup/management tools; and use of the Web for research. (R) Knowledge of Content Management System/HTML used for editing and maintaining website. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate data and information professionally, effectively, persuasively and on a timely basis to diverse individuals and groups inside and outside of the organization. (R) Ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex processes and abstract concepts for a variety of audiences. (R) Ability to think creatively and work strategically. WORKING CONDITIONS Generally, duties are primarily performed in an office environment while sitting or standing at a desk. Incumbents are subject to regular contact with co-workers, managers, external partners, and vendors in person, by telephone and via work-related electronic communications.
