Summary

CENTURION SERVICE GROUP - A TRIMEDX COMPANY

REMOTE ROLE WITH EXTENSIVE TRAVEL

This position is responsible for leading all commercial activity (sales and account management) in the Centurion auction business. Including developing new commercial opportunities and forming new partnerships using a consultative sales approach. The role will be responsible for proactively developing and implementing a sales strategy by creating and sustaining strategic relationships/alliances . This position models the TRIMEDX Core Values and develops a work culture of high performance and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Define target markets, build strategic market penetration plans, and create account plans for targets
  • Utilize marketing campaigns, tradeshow contacts, and call plans to develop relationships.
  • Research market trends and critical information for respective territory.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent high-quality interactions with customer management.
  • Build long term strategic alliance with portfolio of accounts to continue to add value and promote service offerings to identify and escalate commercial service.
  • Build wide and effective network of contacts inside and outside the organization.

Negotiate and Close Business Opportunities

  • Utilize sales process to define customer needs, forecast sales, and define financial consequences as the basis for pursuing opportunities.
  • Demonstrate sales cycle control.
  • Collaborate and drive the creation of solution-based proposals.
  • Schedule and deliver proposals.
  • Grow base of revenue from deals, closures, and professional services (appraisals)

Leadership, coaching, and development

  • Coordinate responsibilities, resources, project objectives, and performance.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and resources to inspire strong customer service, technical expertise, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide leadership and role modelling through community involvement and a commitment to living out the company's core values.
  • Develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
  • Share expertise and knowledge with others.

All other duties as assigned.

Key Deliverables

  • Secure new auction service clients MSA's.
  • Convert inactive hospital auction clients to grow revenue.
  • Nurture existing hospital auction clients to maintain and grow revenue.
  • Grow base of OEM partners and associated revenue.
  • Grow base of revenue deals, closures, and professional services (appraisals).

Skills and Experience

  • 10 years of business experience and at least 5 plus years of leading people. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of business development or account management experience.
  • Excited and passionate about growing a business.
  • Ability to develop and manage robust pipeline; control sales cycle with a strong commercial orientation, focused on closing sales and overcoming obstacles.
  • Notable achievements in creating opportunities and closing significant revenue generating sales.
  • Proven business development and account management skills.
  • Exceptional project management skills - including the ability to build and execute plans.
  • Detailed knowledge of hospital supply chain and clinical engineering operations.
  • Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels.
  • High level presentation skills; able to present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills required including executive presentation.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, frequent travel both local and overnight.
