This position will serve as a senior IT manager and report directly to the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO). The Senior Technical Program Manager will work directly with all levels of IT staff. This administrative and technical role is suited for a candidate with prior technical program and project management experience. This individual needs to possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and be passionate about the wellbeing of our members, staff, and community. This role requires a broad background managing large-scale highly interdependent technical projects with exceptional written and verbal communication skills that will apply principles, techniques, and best practices in the planning, organizing, and implementation of these complex projects. The right candidate must have experience preparing and managing project documentation including scope, schedule budgets, change management, risk analysis, and quality. The role requires subject matter leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex and diverse landscapes. In addition, the role will need to interact effectively as a team leader and liaison with our business partners. The successful candidate for this position will have to tackle muti-faceted problems requiring a creative mindset to find innovative solutions across the IT Department. They will also have to manage vendor relations, staffing, and the overall coordination of complex initiatives. This individual will also play a central role in the implementation of MetroPlusHealth's new Core Processing System (CPS). They will work with other senior IT leadership and business leaders to understand the business operations and connectivity to various systems that feed into the new CPS.
