Essential Job Duties |
The Purchasing Officer will join the department, which provides vital financial and business services for the department and its student organizations. This role is essential in supporting student organizations by managing and recording day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring student groups operate within their allocated budgets. The Purchasing Officer serves as a resource, ensuring compliance with financial policies and assisting student organizations in navigating financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and manage daily financial transactions for student organizations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
- Monitor budgets to ensure student organizations stay within allocated amounts.
- Provide guidance and support to student organizations on financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with theteam to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Minimum Experience/Education |
- Associate's degree in a field related to accounting or business, plus at least one year of experience in purchasing, bookkeeping, or reconciling.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with vLookups and pivot tables.
