What Supplier Quality contributes to Cardinal HealthThis position provides leadership and guidance for the supplier quality engineering team. Will be responsible for developing goals, objectives, procedures, policies and systems that are aligned with company requirements and applicable for medical devices regulations. Daily responsibilities include managing the resolution of supplier quality/process issues, suppliers and components qualification activities. Ensuring a continuous supply of high-quality components and packaging materials to production and support product development to ensure the identification of quality-oriented suppliers with capable processes that will manufacture high quality products. Will ensure our customers satisfaction and patient safety.Qualifications

Act as an inspirational leader to bring this as a value added to our process. Ensures process and systems are in place to monitor the department and supplier performance. Contribute and guide the development, establishment and maintenance of supplier quality engineering methodologies, systems and practices meeting company and regulatory requirements. Be innovative and demonstrate the capability to make changes to be at state of the art in current industry practices. Support the team and bring leadership to investigate and solve problems related with suppliers products and work processes to ensure systemically remediation activities. Act as a coach of the direct team members and ensure appropriate development activities for them. Lead the organization with Cardinal Health Values and Behaviors for decision making and actions.
