V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Logistics Specialist I - 2nd Shift to join our team!

Position Scope and Charter:

We are seeking candidates for the position of Logistics Specialist I at the Indianapolis site for 2nd shift. The individual will be part of the stores and warehousing team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring coordination and distribution of work to meet internal and external customer needs, staff training, coordinating activities throughout the site and managing projects within the logistics organization.

Essential Tasks:

The following is a sample of the various tasking required of the Logistics Analyst. The omission of specific responsibilities does not exclude them from the position if the tasking is comparable or logically associated to the position.



  • Coordinate tasking with team members
  • Plans, schedules, and manages the efficient movement of material throughout the facility.
  • Support and instill a culture of safety, quality and DFAR compliance.
  • Plan, organize and manage tasking to ensure that work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
  • Use analytic skills along with MRP requirements to prioritizing work assignments and overall material handler tasking.
  • May perform interviews and make staffing recommendations.
  • Share key organizational communications with teams and ensure appropriate actions are completed.
  • Work on action plans related to improvement.
  • Maintain the data necessary for compliance with the various facility certifications.
  • Perform related work as required.
  • Assess PKI for continual improvement and work analysis.
  • Data entry and maintenance related to systems and physical inventory.
  • Significant utilize tool and resources to conduct daily problem solving.


Minimum Educational / Work Experience Requirements:



  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience. Minimum of 2 years' experience evaluating MRP requirements and planning of tasking. Minimum of 2 years' experience leading and developing a team.


Computer Skills:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Proficient with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software.


Communication Skills:



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to communicate technical concerns in a manor the audience can understand.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to handle difficult discussions.


Security Requirements:



  • The candidate must meet the requirements necessary to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
