Genesis10 is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with our financial services client in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL. This is a twelve-month contract to hire position requiring 4 days onsite. Summary and responsibilities Specializing in architecting and deploying enterprise monitoring solutions for the firm's compute and network platforms. Hands-on role working with both open source and commercial software solutions, along with developing code to integrate these solutions with parts of the enterprise ecosystem. Design, implement, and support efficient monitoring solutions and tools for a large complex environment Identify improvements that can be made in the current infrastructure tools, alerts, and processes Work collaboratively with other departments to efficiently and effectively deliver business goals Required skills 5+ years of experience with enterprise infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion, NetScout, or Prometheus 3+ years of experience in development using languages such as Golang, Java, or Python Experience with Linux and Windows administration Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Excellent verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations bachelor's degree Preferred skills In-depth knowledge working with and managing Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit) Experience using messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or IBM MQ This position pays $75/hr -$80/hr W2 depending on experience If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!
