As a Release & Change Manager you will be responsible for the Release Management of newly developed or enhanced IT products - often comprised of multiple application and cloud infrastructure components. This position will plan and monitor the implementation of releases, ensuring that the integrity and stability of the live environment is maintained. This would also include consistent reporting to management on change management compliance, quality and analysis of any disruptions caused.

Your job

  • Establish, maintain, and implement processes for Change, Release Management, Deployment Management
  • Adapts design of assigned processes and underlying procedures, tools, and techniques to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Ensure the development, test and production environments are protected by a rigorous Change and Release Management process.
  • Ensure standardized process and procedures are used for efficient handling of changes to minimize incidents due to change
  • Resolves issues causing sub-standard performance of process(es). Automates process using DevOps or other tooling.
  • Play a key role in collaborating with other IT teams in ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor Change and Release progresses

Your profile

  • University degree preferably in Computer engineering / IT or similar qualification
  • 3+ of experience of delivering results in a fast paced, global and regulated business environment, preferably in application release management or project management
  • Strong experience in the management diverse business and IT stakeholders, ability to set priorities in a pragmatic and efficient way combined with cost consciousness
  • Experience in Agile project management methodologies like Scrum
  • Experience in successful implementations that delivered value to the business, resulting in measurable business outcomes
  • Preferably, you are already ITIL certified or have the readiness to pursue one with our support
  • Consulting and collaborative working style creating a culture of accountability and sharing
