Near Patient Care is a Customer Area within Roche Diagnostics, committed to enabling sustainable healthcare systems with accurate diagnostics in decentralized healthcare settings across the continuum of care - from the home, pharmacy, and physician's office to the emergency department and hospital.

Launch Excellence is a global function within Near Patient Care Operations Mannheim / Indianapolis, under Diagnostics Global Operations, responsible for providing Lifecycle and master data updates and system readiness for the Near Patient Care product portfolio - Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Blood Glucose Monitoring.

The opportunity
As the Product Launch Specialist, you will be leading operational launch readiness for the Near Patient Care Portfolio, from R&D launch decisions through manufacturing operations, Supply Chain and commercialization phases. You define the requirements for new product launch/lifecycle changes in alignment with relevant functions within Diagnostics Global Operations.
In this position you prepare and manage project plans for new product launches, lifecycle changes and product obsolescence. You coordinate and contribute to cross-functional launch/lifecycle teams and collaborate with stakeholders across the Roche Group. Further, you collaborate closely with Master Data experts and strive for continuous optimization, proactively identifying and removing roadblocks and risks.

In this role you will report to the Head of Launch Excellence & Product Master Data.

You will be responsible to:

  • Determine launch/lifecycle change requirements, prepare and manage project plans/schedules for implementation, identify and mitigate project risks under GxP guidelines

  • Contribute to cross-functional launch/lifecycle teams, collaborate with stakeholders to achieve launch milestones

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze and prepare products for obsolescence / phase-out

  • Identify requirements for product variants, prepare product representations in SAP, including master data

  • Participate in strategic/special projects as needed

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related functions

  • 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Project Management, Supply Chain or related discipline, preferably within the Medical Device industry

  • Working knowledge of SAP, Design Control process and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework concepts, PMP preferred

  • A willingness to challenge the status quo and a passion to drive change

  • You are an excellent communicator in English and a great cross-functional collaborator

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $67,100 - $124,500 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
