As Senior Manager, Creative Strategy for the FPS and Action genres, you will lead the Creative Marketing Strategy efforts for some of EA Games's most important franchises. You will develop creative strategies and drive collaboration across internal teams and external partners to achieve business goals. In close partnership with partner game studios, as well as Growth leaders across Product Marketing, User Acquisition, Market Research, Data Science, Communications and Platform Marketing, your creative marketing campaigns will drive player acquisition, retention, and engagement.

Finally, you will manage creative marketing partnership with our studio teams, and creative agency partners, working collaboratively to understand the game, its competitors, and the performance media ecosystem, and produce multimedia assets to bring your creative campaigns to life. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Creative Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver creative strategy and marketing assets for your title or franchise. Align strategy with product marketing go-to-market strategy, product roadmaps, and audience insights while mapping to financial plans and creative budget to scale existing live service.

  • Lead the concept and creation of marketing assets across social and performance marketing channels.

  • Drive creative ownership of marketing assets throughout the production workflow, from concept, to briefing, to source materials, and reviews, through to completion.

  • Demonstrate mastery of brand tone of voice, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels

  • Partner with Marketing Producers to select and manage creative vendors.

  • Maintain a high standard of creative asset quality and execution.

  • Own and understand competitive creative insights of the mobile games market as well as for new and existing EA titles that help inform data-driven creative strategies that will capture target audiences and increase market share

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Studio to design creative campaigns that align with product roadmaps to support acquisition, engagement and growth strategies

  • Build relationships with leaders focused on your titles including, Product Marketing, User Acquisition, Data Science, Franchise Brand Marketing, Communications, Regional Marketing and Platform Marketing to meet a common goal

  • Lead, mentor, develop and grow a talented team of creative leads to foster a culture of creativity and collaboration.

  • Act as a senior leader on the Creative Strategy Team, partnering with the Sr. Director on setting goals and process development.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in game marketing, product marketing, or creative production

  • Experience building performance or UA creative for a successful product or brand

  • Experience in game marketing or passion for FPS gaming

  • Experience in managing multiple direct reports including skill development and project oversight

  • Highly proactive with the ability to persuade, influence and lead cross-functionally, bringing creative concepts to life across teams and channels

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business or related field

  • Creative-minded storyteller who can translate data into actionable campaigns

  • Experience owning and managing creative within a cross-functional team

  • Strong project management skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $126,000 - $176,300 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $138,200 - $219,000 USD
* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) * $136,600 - $202,300 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
