Department's Website: Instructional Responsibilities *Serve as Primary Instructor for the CNA program with accountability to the Arkansas Office of Long-Term Care *Teach assigned CNA and Phlebotomy courses (classroom, lab, and clinical) *Supervise students in clinical settings, schedule clinicals, debrief, and evaluate student performance *Develop and maintain course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments *Ensure curriculum aligns with regulatory and accrediting body standards *Foster student-centered learning and critical thinking Program Coordination *Oversee CNA program approval and compliance with OLTC standards, policies, and reporting *Serve as the program contact for OLTC and ensure accurate records, curriculum, and policies *Coordinate clinical site selection, agreements, and scheduling *Maintain program budgets, order supplies, and ensure resources are up to date *Collaborate with healthcare partners and clinical sites to ensure positive working relationships *Lead program evaluation and continuous improvement processes Student Success and Advising *Advise students and support them in identifying and reaching academic goals *Maintain weekly office hours for availability and academic support *Participate in retention and recruitment activities Professional Growth and Development *Maintain professional licensure and credentials *Stay current with regulatory requirements, best practices, and teaching methodologies *Participate in professional development activities and faculty workshops College and Community Service *Participate in division, department, and institutional meetings and committees *Serve on Advisory Committees related to Patient Care Technician programs *Engage in service activities supporting UACCB and local healthcare community Other Duties *Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Career and Workforce Education *Contribute to accreditation efforts and grant opportunities *Represent the Patient Care Technician programs in college and community settings Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
