Overview:

This role will work closely with Marketing Management to serve as a main marketing and customer support driver for our Laser Anneal Products. This entails assisting in formulating product / pricing strategies and helping with responses to requests from Customer and Sales Team members. This person will interact with the Applications, Engineering, Operations and Sales teams to execute Laser Spike Anneal and Melt product line goals.This position requires strong leadership qualities, good verbal and written communication skills, and good business acumen.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead value-oriented marketing collateral development
  • Respond to Accounts and Account Management requests through direct engagement with existing and target accounts
  • Manage timely and accurate quotations in support of field sales efforts
  • Develop detailed knowledge of customers' use of Veeco systems and the value that the product features provide
  • Maintain customer system database and parts change information
  • Serve as main POC and interface with Veeco's critical customer alliances
  • Provide proper responses to Specification Agreements and Supplier Purchasing agreements
  • Manage system pricing for system sales, configuration, and upgrade options for existing and new customers
  • Manage communications with respect to all deliverables, including but not limited to commitments for product shipments, CIP developments, and technical/product support
  • Support customer engagements including direct communication (both in-person and virtual) to drive business
  • Communicate and execute marketing strategy for LSA and Melt product line
  • Develop, own, and implement the technology and product CIP roadmap
  • Create product quotes and marketing collateral to drive system and upgrade business
  • Collaborating with manufacturing engineering on new component obsolescence and drive engineering projects to address
  • Work effectively and cross-functionally to conduct customer-facing activities and execute projects, including but not limited to:




    • Coordinate and drive response to escalations from semiconductor customers
    • Drive improvements of on-time delivery score through proper communication of shipment commitments
    • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality organizations for the establishment of parts criticality controls to ensure compliance with customer Process of Record (POR) procedures
    • Manage day-to-day responses to technical questions to ensure prompt resolution of issues and customer satisfaction
    • Drive identification and implementation of cost-saving opportunities to offset increasing component costs
    • Develop and maintain product and technology presentations and related marketing materials





Qualifications:

BS or BE degree in an Engineering/Science related field with 5+ years of related experience, or an MS, MBE or MBA with 3+ years of related experience is required. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Experience in capital equipment and front-end equipment is highly desirable.
  • Diffusion experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Decision making and project management skills
  • Ability to grow into a leadership position
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive team player, self-motivated with strong analytical skills


The expected salary range for this position is $113,100.00-$143260, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
