Role - 3D Print, Scan, CAD Technician

Job Requirements:

A highly motivated Technician to lead and assist CAE model builds, reverse engineering and additive manufacturing activities. This individual main objective is to support the Aero teams program development needs in CAE modelling, digital scanning and 3D Printing activities.

Position Description:

* Lead and operate 3D printing actives for Aero program development

* Lead digital surface scanning activities for clay development and various Aero components

* Reverse Engineer Digital scans for CAD delivery

* Support CAE model builds for various programs

* Conduct CAD checks and CAD modifications for 3D Printing activities and CAE analysis

* Maintain Aero Tire Library for use in Aero CAE Assessments

* Design parts and assemblies for wind tunnel models

Skills Required:

* CAD/Meshing tools

* CAE Model delivery

* 3D Printing

* Digital Scanning

* CAD Design

Skills Preferred:

* Able to handle multiple tasks and understand priority

* Excellent communication skills

* Experience will CNC mill and/or clay mills

Experience Required:

* 5-10 years of automotive engineering experience (including interns and hand on auto works) in CAD development, mesh activities and CAE Model builds

* 5+ experience in using CAD software (CATIA, UG Teamcenter, etc.)

* 5+ experience in using meshing applications (ANSA, Hypermesh)

* 5+ experience delivering 3D Printed components and associated software packages

* 5+ experienced in surface scanning and reverse engineering
