The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, must take a hands-on approach to their work, be flexible in their duties, and be a proven self-starter.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

DTB has the opportunity for you to become the best version of yourself! As a test engineer, you will oversee the design and running of numerous high-profile, challenging test programs.

You will be responsible for all phases of the tests and are expected to learn environmental and vibration testing to specs such as MIL-STD810 and DO-160. In addition, this person is also responsible for continuous improvement activities as they see them in the lab and take ownership over them. In this role, there is a requirement at times to get large programs completed. In this role, you will be responsible for the scheduling, testing, and budgets of the programs.

What is required of the ideal candidate to be successful in this position:



  • Strong engineering and mathematics background.
  • Overseas, numerous programs at any given time
  • Determines the best way to set up and perform tests
  • Must be able to plan out jobs in advance, recognize and diffuse any potential issues before starting the test
  • Captures/documents out-of-scope efforts and reports back to the customer promptly
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Design test setups
  • Write Procedures when needed
  • Write reports based on testing results while testing is underway
  • Direct technicians/customers on best test practices
  • Must be able to manage a program, keeping it on track, both schedule and budget
  • Creates long-lasting relationships with customers
  • Ability to work overtime to meet deadlines
  • Responsible for their program's Profit and losses
  • Must be able to quote future programs


Required Qualifications:



  • US Citizenship is required.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 4 yr. bachelor's degree preferred
  • Min 3+ years of Engineering testing experience
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Be able to troubleshoot ideas outside the box
  • Willingness to learn new challenges
  • Must be hands-on
  • Promote continuous improvement and be process-driven
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Experience managing projects to a budget and driving profitability
