Excelligence Learning Corporation is a leading innovator in the education sector, dedicated to developing, manufacturing, and distributing high-quality, grade-appropriate educational products and teaching solutions. Our portfolio includes trusted and beloved brands like Discount School Supply, Really Good Stuff, Steve Spangler Science, Children's Factory, EPI, and Frog Street.

Together, we empower educators and students by delivering exceptional learning tools that make a lasting impact in the classroom and beyond.

Are you a data-driven problem solver ready to level up your career in analytics? We're looking for an Analytics Associate who thrives on digging into data, uncovering insights, and communicating findings that make a real impact.

This role is perfect for someone early in their career who brings a strong analytical foundation and wants to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced, and insights-hungry environment. If you love turning numbers into narratives, streamlining messy data, and aren't afraid to ask "why" until you get to the truth-this is the role for you.

This position plays a critical role in supporting data-driven initiatives for several of our flagship brands, including Really Good Stuff, a leader in hands-on learning materials and classroom solutions trusted by teachers nationwide.

What You'll Do

  • Deep-Dive into Data: Use Excel (pivot tables, modeling, advanced formulas) to clean, structure, and analyze large datasets.
  • Build Smart Solutions: Write SQL (and potentially Python or R) scripts to automate data pulls, analyze business performance, and streamline reporting.
  • Tell Stories with Data: Create dashboards and visualizations that translate complexity into clear, decision-driving insights. (Excel required; Tableau/Power BI a bonus!)
  • Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with business stakeholders to scope problems, understand KPIs, and explore root causes.
  • Drive Customer Intelligence: Use web analytics and CRM tools to monitor digital behaviors, conversion funnels, and engagement trends.
  • Elevate the Process: Constantly question and improve data quality, reporting workflows, and how the business consumes insights.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar field.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in a data or business analysis role.
  • Proficiency in Excel (you should know your way around pivot tables, formulas, and data models).
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R preferred).
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and web analytics platforms.
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a relentless pursuit of "why."
  • Exposure to or experimentation with AI tools is a plus.

Bonus Points If You...

  • Have experience working directly with senior/executive stakeholders.
  • Are eager to learn new tools, systems, and business models.
  • Can juggle multiple requests without dropping the details.

  • You'll contribute to mission-driven brands like Really Good Stuff, helping educators nationwide elevate their classrooms through data-backed innovation.
