Business Analyst (IT)

We are currently seeking an exceptional Business Analyst here at Incora.

The Business Analyst is responsible for engaging alongside business stakeholders in the evaluation of Wesco's current systems and processes as an advocate for change that ensures delivery of established outcomes, best practice, and continued efficiencies. The Business Analyst is required to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders by organizing and coordinating resources through assigned project lifecycles from conception through successful implementation.

Through these processes, the Business Analyst must understand how stakeholders are impacted by proposed changes and assist in bridging the knowledge gap between business needs and viable technological solutions. They are responsible for eliciting and confirming information about the current state, defining the necessary future conditions, and synthesizing relevant information into requirements and solution designs.

About You:

• Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis to identify all the affected or interested stakeholders and analyze their characteristics and attitudes with techniques such as mind mapping, organizational modelling, surveying or scope modelling.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings; actively collaborate, communicate, and listen to gain a clear understanding of the 'real' issues or needs while building relationships with assigned client groups/stakeholders.
• Plan and organize elicitation activities by clearly defining the desired work products most appropriate for the project based on the stakeholders involved and goals of the project.
• Conduct research, analysis and assessment of stakeholder requirements by using techniques such as data mining and document analysis in order to build a strong understanding of the circumstances and needs of stakeholder while facilitating a collaborative environment.
• Facilitate elicitation events to capture results and synthesize relevant information by using various techniques such as: concept modelling, data modelling, focus groups, interface analysis, interviews, process analysis and workshops.
• Adapt verbal and non-verbal communication style to the needs of the elicitation situation and the individuals involved.
• Promote communication and interaction by actively encouraging participation from all stakeholder attendees.
• Assist stakeholders in successfully implementing change strategy while continuously evaluating business drivers, influences and effects of the proposed changes.
• Ensure the future state of the enterprise is well defined, assist project managers and key stakeholders in constructing work plans to achieve the shared consensus vision for required results on time.
• Communicate appropriate information to all stakeholders to meet project needs/ expectations
• Participate and/or attend regularly scheduled or impromptu meetings, and or company-sponsored meetings or trainings, as required
• Travel as required to fulfill the essential duties of the job (up to 25%)

More About You:

• Educated to National Vocational Level (NVQ) or equivalent (EU)
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or economics is preferred; or equivalent business or Information Technology experience
• Minor studies in Information Technology is a plus
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Maintain strong communication verbal / non-verbal, written, and presentation skills, including good questioning and active listening skills
• Demonstrate fundamental ability to adapt through modifying existing knowledge in response to new and different types of incoming information in rapidly changing/evolving environment
• Ability to clearly document and communicate processes and solutions, in detail
• Ability to easily analyze ambiguous information received, and work through the process of articulating the information into relative requirements to be clearly understood and utilized by architects and developers
• Maintain excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
