Medical Assistant - Primary Care/Occ Health Category: Healthcare & Medical Employment Type: Contract To Hire Reference: BH-385434 Primary Care Medical Assistant needed for a full-time temp-to-hire contract opportunity with Yoh's occupational health client located in Oklahoma City, OK 73102. The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees and their families (around 10 patients a day). Looking for someone to cover front & back office, Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm. Top Skills You Should Possess: Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) highly preferred Must be comfortable with blood draws/labs Positive, can-do attitude What You'll Be Doing: Greet patients and check them in/out Room patients Vitals and injections Answer phones and schedule appointments Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns Front office responsibilities such as: checking patients in, call backs, sending patients messages, faxing, etc. Provide medical testing such as EKGs, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening Immunizations Maintain employee health records (using EPIC) What You Need to Bring to the Table: BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted) Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFeron Gold test Must be confident with front and back office responsibilities as you will be the only MA onsite supporting the Nurses and providers Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking What's In It For You?
