Director, Supply Network Analytics

Job Summary

The Director, Supply Network Analytics is responsible for leading the data and analytics strategy and execution across Supply Network in organization. This role involves overseeing data governance, data management, business applications and intelligence, and advanced analytics, ensuring that data is collected, analyzed, and utilized to support data-driven business decision-making. The Director will work closely with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to drive data-driven insights and contribute to the organization's strategic objectives.

Role is also responsible for securing systems and infrastructure that controls planning processes. Role bridges the gap between IT and day-to-day planning operations, ensuring control systems (SAP, Logility) are running efficiently, securely and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the data and analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop a roadmap for data and analytics initiatives, balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives.
  • Partner with other senior leaders to identify and prioritize business opportunities where data and analytics can add value.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, engineers, and other data professionals. Foster a collaborative environment for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure alignment on data infrastructure and technology solutions.
  • Implement data governance best practices to ensure the quality, consistency, and accessibility of data.
  • Lead advanced analytics projects, such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and data mining.
  • Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to the executive team and key stakeholders.
  • Use data visualization techniques to communicate complex findings in a clear, business-friendly manner. Business Intelligence (BI) Assist in integrating new Operational Technology systems and technologies into existing infrastructure.
  • Configure and optimize Operational Technology devices and networks for improved operational efficiency.

Experience

Experience in Reporting and Analytics. Perform Configuration, design, testing of development, testing, planning and execution of the following:

  • Enterprise Data Warehouse Configuration
  • Development of Data Models and Data Warehouse solution (MS SQL, Snowflake preferred)
  • Business Reporting Requirements gathering
  • Development of ETL Solutions (Matillion, Fivetran HVR preferred)
  • Supply chain understanding and experience
  • Statistics and data science
  • +6 years experience responsible for the integrity of Master Data across the EDW solution and the source information systems meeting established IT goals. Including integrity across applications in External Partners, Supply Chain, Retail, ecommerce, Sales, Sourcing, product lifecycle and Finance.
  • Multiple BI and/or EDW lifecycle implementations preferred - Blueprint/Blueprint, Build/Test, Go-Live and Support

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to lead within team and with cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to guide special projects pertaining to fit and innovation involving multiple functional areas.
  • Innovative approach to product development, systems, processes, and problem solving.
  • Strong analytical skills related to data quality issues to determine causes and/or solutions.
