Chem-Aqua - Parts Puller/Materials Handler

The Parts Puller will be responsible for managing the workflow of inventory from a secured area to the production floor. They will performwork under direct supervision of the Inventory Supervisor. This position is based out of our Macon, GA plant.

Responsibilities:

Review work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and production schedules to determine parts needed.

Locate, pull, and organize parts from inventory according to job specifications.

Verify part numbers, quantities, and quality of materials before delivering to production.

Stage parts for manufacturing jobs and transport them to designated workstations.

Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies or shortages.

Assist with Physical inventory counts and stock replenishment.

Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and responsibly.

Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness and organization in the parts storage area.

Communicate effectively with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams.

Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming parts and supplies as needed.

Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to Chem-Aqua Safety Policy.

Additional Job Functions

Complete special tasks set forth by the Inventory Supervisor.

Qualifications and Capabilities

SKILLS

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office a plus.

PHYSICAL

Must have physical strength and ability to lift up to 40 pounds and carry such a weight for 100 feet.

Must have good visual ability for close-up observations

Must have good depth perception and ability to distinguish different color

Must have hearing sufficient to hear verbal and audible signals at a moderate distance.

Must be conditioned to sustain work in a manufacturing environment that ranges in temperature from 55oF to 95oF

OTHER

Must have a valid Georgia State Drivers License.

Must be able to operate a forklift.

Must have writing ability sufficient to write correspondence.

Must have good communication skills to work cooperatively with company employees.

Other

Employees are required upon hire to pass a Back Ground Check and Drug Test.
