The Job
We seek safety personnel to assist at race events within the South Central Division. The Division has racetracks located in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. As a member of the Emergency Safety Services Team, you will be an essential part of the guest experience. Your job will be to keep our fans, racers, and crew members safe and informed while still maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere. This entails weekday, evenings, and weekend work which can include long hours (12-14+) outside in extreme weather, and in a fast-paced environment.

LOCATION: Racetracks throughout the South-Central Division
FLSA/SALARY:
State minimum wage
  • Located alongside the racetrack and must be able to respond to emergency situations via vehicle or foot.
  • Must be state certified firefighter and/or state certified EMT-basic (documentation required).
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, run, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Due to the potential of operating a vehicle, you must be insurable under the NHRA insurance policy.
  • Must arrive on time and ready to work at shift start.
  • Enforce all facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
  • Must be able to work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
  • Ability to read, follow, and understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, racers, crew members, and guests.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Must be able to handle sounds at a high volume.
  • Travel is required within the region - Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
