We're actively seeking a talented Oracle Expense Management Consultant to join our Enterprise Financials Solutions team. You'll play a key role in our global support structure, anchored on Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS) and Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Services (EPCMCS). This is a liaison role, collaborating with key finance stakeholders and partnering alongside developers to deliver and maintain solutions enabling Business Insights and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). This is a terrific opportunity to help identify, recommend and develop improvements that support FP&A strategic initiatives. In this role, you will consult with global business partners, analyze business needs, and help ensure successful implementation of solutions that drive efficiency and enhance services in multiple geographies. This role is located in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.
How you'll help move us forward:
- Partner with business stakeholders:Understand and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Perform analysis and recommend prioritization based on options and risks. Create clear functional specifications for the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to facilitate effective solution development.
- Technical Support: Provide first-line support for EPBCS and EPCMCS issues, before escalating to the MSP team if needed.Assist business SMEs in troubleshooting business rules, forms, allocations, SmartView reporting and more.
- Technical Analysis:Assist with process mapping and workflow analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Solution Design:Drive fit/gap analysis and decision recommendation on solution design through exploration of options, prototyping, and bringing together representatives across business, functional and technical subject matter expertise.
- Data Expertise: Understand system integrations and data quality processes, helping to ensure accurate data throughout associated systems. Provide guidance and expertise to business users analyzing data within reports.
- Status Reporting:Support project management activities, including tracking progress, communicating blockers, and reporting on project status. Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather feedback, discuss challenges, provide training and promote collaboration between teams.
- Testing and Validation:Assist in business testing and business validation of solutions, ensuring they meet the defined requirements and business objectives.
- Performance Monitoring:Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for enhancements as needed.
- Continuous Improvement:Stay informed about industry trends, Oracle releases, and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Documentation:Develop and maintain documentation as needed to support the system and user community.
The experience you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong functional or technical knowledge of Oracle EPM Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS), including Workforce Planning.
- Familiar with accounting and financial reporting requirements and ERP-related systems and concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, maintain attention to detail and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Highly skilled in 'power user' functions in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of SmartView for report creation and submission of data into Oracle EPM applications.
What makes you stand out:
- Strong functional or technical knowledge and Profitability & Cost Management (EPCMCS).
- Experience supporting multi-currency global Oracle EPM solution, specifically with expense management, forecasting, and cost allocation functions.
- Experience or knowledge working on company budgets, expense management and cost allocations.
- Experience or knowledge in the Financial Services Industry, ideally annuities, life insurance, workforce benefits, institutional and/or reinsurance business lines.
- 5+ years' technical experience supporting Oracle EPM EPBCS/EPCMCS and/or Essbase.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics or related field.

Base Pay Range: The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
