Senior Global Merchandising Specialist - LEE

Job Posting:

Kontoor Brands is looking for a Senior Global Merchandising Specialist to join their team. This role will collaborate with cross functional support groups to successfully execute seasonal production needs and critical tasks. You will work with global design, product development, technical design, global product, regional merchant teams, and brand team to successfully execute seasonal production needs and critical tasks. This position is on the Lee Male Global Merchandising team, working specifically on tiers 1-3 product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership and continuous maintenance of the Global line plan. Inputs include, style, numbers, color names, fit description, etc.
• Ownership of key global collections and management of those styles. Including being the expert of the styles, fit, line plan and target consumer.
• Work daily with the Europe based Lee merchandising teams.
• Assist in the collection and organization of information needed by style/color to ensure correct execution in production of all styles in the product line.
• Communicates style level information as needed to different departments throughout the organization including the Design, Sales, Tech Services, Demand Planning and Production Planning.
• Attending weekly fitting meetings where seasonal styles are fit on models, with design and technical design teams.
• Generate line sheets and GDS information to ensure the correct setup of seasonal styles.
• Play a lead role in the development of product packaging/ticketing, working with Brand/Marketing teams to develop new season tickets packages for new styles.
• Attend specified Milestone meetings including the kick-off seasonal concepts by design teams, Line assortment, and range launch meetings.
• Order product samples as needed for sales meetings, presentations, fashion shoes, etc.
• Coordinates styles to be selected with Merchandiser.
• Lead and/or work independently on special projects with the ability to travel between all Kontoor Greensboro locations on a regular basis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office. (Added bonus: Smartsheet experience.)

Experience/Education:

• Years of Related Professional Experience: 2 - 4 years
• High School Diploma required.

• Prefer 2-year to 4-year degree in Consumer Apparel and Retail Studies, Business Management or Merchandising, or equivalent business experience.
