The Operations Lead supports the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) within NAVAIR's Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA-262). In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with program goals and milestones. This position requires strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills to support program execution across technical, cost, and schedule objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external program coordination, including PEO, OPNAV, ASN(RDA), SECNAV, DoD, and congressional stakeholders.
  • Track action items and suspense dates; ensure timely completion and communication of program requirements.
  • Support and coordinate IPT activities; maintain operational continuity across the program.
  • Use Microsoft Teams, FlankSpeed SharePoint Online, and other digital tools for collaboration and information management.
  • Prepare, review, and manage documentation including briefs, white papers, quad charts, and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, ELT updates, PMRs, and \"All Hands\" events.
  • Draft and maintain program procedures and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Support document routing, recordkeeping, and calendar management for PM/DPM.
  • Schedule and manage secure communications (SVTC, VOIP, STE) and verify attendees through DISS.
  • Assist with classified and public release approvals (e.g., SF 2570) using the NAWCAD Security Storefront.
  • Coordinate Navy End-of-Tour (EOT) awards for military personnel; must be familiar with NDAWS and OPNAV 1650 forms.
  • Maintain personnel distribution lists and support onboarding/offboarding processes.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's degree and 10 years of related experience, or a bachelor's degree and 12 years of related experience, required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).
  • Experience supporting DoD/Navy acquisition programs.

  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary Range:

  • The estimated salary range for this position will be $85,000 - $115,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
