Job Overview
The Capital Planning & Execution (CP&E) team manages funding and prioritization of cross-functional capabilities. By partnering with technology teams and key business stakeholders we ensure strategic alignment enabling TFB to meet our
long-range plan. This role interacts with various teams across the organization to optimize value creation and margin for a channel segment. The Business Analysis Manager will provide investment recommendations to technical portfolio owners and leadership to drive incremental value and return on investment by creating and communicating complicated analyses in a clear and concise way. This person will also help drive execution of key channel initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform continuous technical portfolio backlog analysis, understanding execution efficacy and key drivers of performance e.g. development status (utilizing systems including Jira, Orbit, and FIT), value creation, return on investment. Effectively communicate performance to channel leaders, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Channel Management, Sales, and Marketing to steer investments to drive value and margin performance in the channel.
- Partner with channel leadership to execute key operational initiatives. Work closely with internal clients to understand business issues, and incorporate them into business and financial models.
- Develop comprehensive financial models to aid in decision making and evaluation of initiatives, including business case applications, scenarios, and sensitivity analyses across a range of options. Perform post-mortem analyses to determine effectiveness of key investment decisions including post-launch metrics.
- Create executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner. Possess the ability to influence leadership through fact-based analyses.
- Demonstrate strong competency and comfort working with and analyzing large sets of data and analyzing business cases, long-range planning and financial models. Perform data mining as needed to support analyses and drive key insights.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data analysis, data science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)
- 4-7 years Working experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (Required)
- 4-7 years Working experience reporting and analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) (Required)
- 4-7 years Working experience in advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research (Required)
- Working experience with Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science language preferred. (Preferred)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
