Warehouse Manager

American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking a for a Warehouse Manager in our location in Henderson, NV.

Must have prior Warehouse Management Experience. Bachelor's degree, in Business Administration and/or Event Management.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning and directing the different work activities of the warehouse while delegating duties with respect and fostering teamwork and AFR culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Facilitate weekly Operations and Sales calls via Teams internal communication system.

* Oversees order picking, preparation, and shipment of orders and transfers between the warehouse and the delivery destination, either residential or an event.

* Work with and monitor delivery teams by providing support while transactions are carried out.

* Walk and inspect both inbound and outbound orders and transfers to destination.

* Training and monitoring of delivery teams and pickers.

* Handle calls from delivery teams.

* Work with Branch Managers to route trucks drivers.

* Oversea and inspect the quality of the previous days Triage and approve of all products going into racks.

* Perform other related duties as assigned or required by management.

EXPERIENCE:

* Previous management experience in a Special Event, Tradeshow, or Party Rental distribution center environment required.

* Previous furniture warehouse management experience in a residential environment for the residential warehouse managers is highly considered.

EDUCATION:

*Bachelor's degree, in Business Administration and/or Event Management.

*Languages: English and Spanish languages verbal and written.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Forklift license, certified by AFR.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability to perform complex tasks, rational thinking and numerical calculations is required.

* This job will require a high level of physical movement in a warehouse environment.

* This job will require lifting and/or moving objects up to 75 pounds, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and being physically active for extended periods of time.
