Outpatient Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Orthopaedic Adult/Peds Sports Medicine/Pediatric- MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Pediatric Orthopaedic team, supporting Dr. Ryan Murray at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Position Overview

In this role, the advanced practice provider (APP) will:

• Primarily support Dr. Murray at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

• Practice independently several days per week at our Gaithersburg, MD office.

• Perform standard orthopaedic procedures including:

• Injections and aspirations

• Casting, splinting, and bracing

• Post-op suture removal

• Manage a full patient panel, averaging ~20 patients per day, including:

  • New patient evaluations

  • Follow-up visits

  • Post-operative care

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Location: Primarily based at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital with scheduled days in Gaithersburg, MD.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington, D.C. and Maryland

• Orthopaedic experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
