Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible to complete all aspects of sheet metal modification and finish to meet or exceed customer demands. * Read and follow blueprints to complete sheet metal work. * Utilize multiple machines to complete task * Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor * Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Qualifications
* Ability to operate multiple pieces of machines/equipment and/or the ability to write and modify basic laser programs or CNC press brake programs * Ability to read blueprints and to produce complicated parts to print with minimal assistance * Ability to complete all work within dedicated time frames * Ability to utilize SAP to see open work orders, bill of materials, and to close work orders * Ability to perform preventive maintenance on the lathe and milling machine. * Ability to make and use complicated fixtures as needed to complete open task * Ability to recognize different metal types and gauges * Ability to pick the correct metal and gauge for the job * Ability to read blueprints and to produce simple parts to blueprint specifications with minimal assistance. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers * Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service * Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices * High school diploma or GED required * Associate degree preferred Requisition id:51654 Relocation:No Sealed Air is committed to attracting, selecting, and developing talent that reflects the diversity of the communities and customers we serve.
