About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Plant manager, as a Process Engineer you'll play a key role in driving manufacturing excellence, leading safety, production, and reliability improvements within a collaborative team environment. You'll spearhead the development of innovative products and processes, support existing product lines through technical expertise, troubleshooting, and process optimization, and serve as a senior technical resource for complex challenges across business teams.

This dynamic role also offers the opportunity to engage directly with customers, building and strengthening valuable relationships with 3rd party partners.

Role Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, design, and develop detailed specifications for equipment and production processes.
  • Create and update process flow diagrams and CAD drawings.
  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives and design projects aligned with annual cost savings goals.
  • Ensure project delivery within established timelines and budget parameters.
  • Support the implementation of Autonomous Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding process abnormalities and improvements.
  • Investigate process deviations and drive corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.

Role Key Requirements:

  • B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field or a combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years in an engineering position within a chemical manufacturing production environment with preference towards fluid handling and/or non-hazardous chemical processing or related manufacturing facility preferred
  • Formalized problem-solving methodologies, such as 5S, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Root Cause Analysis.
