Position Overview:
The Channel Partner Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and strategic alignment with assigned distribution partners. This role combines relationship management with strategic account oversight to strengthen Laerdal's presence across key markets, including EMS, Education, and Healthcare.
Key responsibilities include managing high-impact partner relationships, conducting executive-level business reviews, and supporting partner sales teams with insights, tools, and training. The Channel Partner Manager also leads strategic account planning to align partner goals with Laerdal's mission, ensuring consistent execution of programs and initiatives that drive mutual success.
By promoting the Laerdal brand, sharing market intelligence, and fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, this role plays a critical part in expanding reach and advancing our mission to help save lives.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve assigned sales targets by driving product adoption through distribution partners
- Execute strategic business plans to support partner and regional growth
- Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to expand Laerdal's reach and impact
Partner & Customer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with distributor sales teams and leadership
- Conduct business reviews and collaborate on shared goals and performance metrics
- Provide sales support through training, demos, and joint customer interactions (in-person and virtual)
Strategic Execution & Market Alignment
- Align sales efforts with company initiatives and market strategy
- Share customer and market insights with internal teams to inform planning and positioning
- Promote Laerdal's brand across target market segments (e.g., EMS, Healthcare, Education)
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM systems
- Manage travel and expenses in compliance with company policies
- Support marketing initiatives and events alongside distribution partners
Professional Growth & Collaboration
- Complete required training and development goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to drive results
- Embody Laerdal's mission, values, and customer-focused culture
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate must reside in the West Sales Region (CA, NV, UT, OR, WA, ID, AZ, CO, NM, TX)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in solution-based sales, preferably across multi-state territories and with distribution partners
- Proven experience in strategic account management and aligning partner strategies with business goals
- Background in distribution channel management strongly preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive results through collaboration and influence
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to travel up to 60%; flexible availability including evenings/weekends as needed
- Ability to lift and transport up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Comfortable working remotely and delivering virtual demos, training, and webinars
Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000, additional $70,000 at 100% to plan
