Coating Technician

We are currently hiring a Coating Technician (Various Shifts)

Location: Hoya Vision, 7000 Sunwood Dr NW, Ramsey, MN 55303

Hourly Rate: $22 per hour (+ shift differential, see below for more information)

Shifts Available:

- 2^nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm (+ 10% shift differential)

- 3^rd Shift: Monday through Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am (+ 20% shift differential)

What you'll do:

• Prepare lenses for the coating process, ensuring they are free from defects and ready for the next stage.
• Load and operate the AR Coating machine, monitoring its function and intervening as needed.
• Inspect coated lenses for quality, using specialized equipment to measure and assess coatings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and record keeping.
