Are you someone who thrives on solving complex problems, building tailored solutions, and turning bold ideas into high-performance systems? Do you love connecting with people, streamlining technology, and driving meaningful change in the logistics world?

Trinity Logistics is looking for an Implementation Specialist to join our Managed Transportation team. In this high-impact role, you'll take ownership of TMS implementations and ongoing enhancements, guiding projects from discovery to go-live while continuously improving system adoption and performance.

This role blends project management, systems configuration, customer collaboration, and creative problem-solving-perfect for someone with deep transportation knowledge and a passion for making supply chains smarter.

What You'll Do

  • Lead full-cycle TMS implementations and customer enhancements (requirements, setup, testing, go-live, post-launch)
  • Define project scope, resource plans, and timelines; manage milestones and communication across stakeholders
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to understand business needs and translate requirements into technical specs
  • Configure and tailor MercuryGate TMS for new and existing customers
  • Oversee system integrations using APIs, EDI, SFTP, and other protocols
  • Perform data mapping, validation, and migration activities
  • Develop and support PowerBI dashboards and reporting tools
  • Create clear, concise user guides, SOPs, and training materials
  • Deliver user training and post-launch support to drive adoption
  • Monitor performance and resolve system issues post-deployment
  • Collaborate with product teams to test and prioritize new features
  • Gather customer feedback to refine processes and implement improvements
  • Mentor teammates and lead cross-functional efforts for strategic accounts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for implementation and enhancement activities
  • Foster long-term customer satisfaction, relationship building, and performance improvement

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of transportation or logistics experience (3PL or freight brokerage required)
  • Extensive hands-on experience with MercuryGate TMS, including configuration, DRSs, integrations, and user support
  • Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Java programming required
  • Deep understanding of logistics processes: carrier management, freight audit and payment, route optimization, tracking, etc.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred (but not required)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects across cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Confident working both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
  • PowerBI and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts, macros)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence and build strong partnerships
  • Strategic, solutions-oriented, and growth-focused mindset
  • Ability to coordinate activities and resolve challenges using diplomacy and decision-making
  • Passion for delivering results and living Trinity's Core Values
