  • Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Committed to a 12 consecutive week assignment
  • Assigned to a specific unit, but due to fluctuating census, could be pulled to another unit or HHS facility
  • Scheduled for a minimum of 36 hours per week or 72 hours per pay period, including a minimum of six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule period (where applicable)
  • Complete hospital/nursing/computer orientation and credentialing with minimal unit orientation
  • Required to work holidays during their agreement period
  • Expected to work all scheduled shifts as assigned unless cancelled by the Staffing Office, department manager, and/or House supervisor
  • Expected to participate in all mandatory education
  • Evaluated by and held accountable for performance based on the standard hospital job descriptions for their respective position
  • Expected to comply with all HHS policies, procedures, and patient care standards

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Current Valid and unrestricted Oklahoma license or multi-state licensure as Registered Nurse
  • BLS and ACLS or other appropriate certifiecations
  • Minimum of one-year recent (within the last two years) hospital experience in selected area
  • In House traveler's will not have had employment with Hillcrest Healthcare System within the preceding six months unless exception is made by Director of Human Resources and Chief Nursing Officer and approved by the regional Vice President of Human Resources.
  • Satisfactory completion of the interview process including background and reference checks and post offer physical and urine drug screen. The facility will utilize the current contract labor/agency policy/checklist.
  • Complete validation and approval of competency checklist to specialty areas by Nurse Managers and/or education.

In-House Travelers acknowledge that this is a temporary employment assignment and are not eligible for benefits except those mandated by law. The In-House Traveler is ineligible for all differentials including critical staffing premiums.
