The Hydrogen Processing Group at Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a PhD level chemical engineer with a strong background in applied science and engineering. We want a highly motivated individual to work towards creating cutting edge processing techniques and unit operations for tritium applications in the field of impurity removal. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an applied science laboratory that supports a production mission.
The Hydrogen Processing Group at SRNL focuses on all aspects of processing hydrogen, including isotope separation, storage, and impurity removal. This group develops new technologies and improves existing technologies to optimize the tritium gas processing systems at the Savannah River Site. Additionally, SRNL is a leader in fusion fuel cycle design, which utilizes the skills of the Hydrogen Processing Group. This position will focus on impurity removal technologies.
