What you will be doing... Your IMPACT



  • Maintain and update lease records for both operating and finance leases in accordance with GAAP and internal tax fixed asset reporting procedures.
  • Record monthly journal entries for lease expenses, additions, disposals, and reclassifications in both GAAP and tax books. All tax-related entries are guided by predefined rules-no tax expertise required.
  • Ensure accuracy of lease data in the lease accounting system and reconcile lease records to the financial statements and internal tax reporting.
  • Prepare monthly lease reports to support financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist in tracking lease activity (i.e. renewals, amendments, and terminations) for both GAAP and internal tax reporting purposes.
  • Prepare lease payments ensuring accuracy and accordance with lease agreements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


What we are looking for...

You will need to have:



  • High school diploma/GED
  • Competence in all financial and accounting principles and processes.
  • Proficiency in using office productivity software such as Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, and other financial systems.


Even better if you have...



  • B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 Years of Accounting experience.
  • General knowledge around continuous improvement or lean concepts.
  • Knowledge of SEC, SOX legislation and other government regulations.
  • Proficiency in using office productivity software such as Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, and other financial systems.
