As a Loan Processor, you'll work closely with sales team members and vendors to process and fund approved loan packages. The primary focus is on consumer loans but will also process a variety of other loans such as vehicle, personal loans, CD secured loans and share secured loans. This is a great job for someone who values working with colleagues and is process and detailed oriented.

Schedule/Location:



  • Ability to work within the operation hours of Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm; rotating Saturdays 9:00 am-1:00 pm.
  • This is a "flex" position with work from home days along with onsite days based at our Lake Forest corporate office.


    • Local Northern IL/Southeastern WI candidates only!



Main duties and responsibilities:



  • Taking part in working on loan files by first reviewing supporting documents.
  • Building relationships with vendors and sales staff and establishing a strong connection with them as you work their file through to closing.
  • Processing related documentation and evaluate funded loans to ensure required documentation has been acquired.
  • Working out of a LOS (loan origination system) to keep track of files and pull necessary data.


Qualifications:



  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1 year of experience in loan processing or related positions in industries such as Insurance, Real Estate, Title Companies, Lending, or related financial institutions.
  • Time management and organizational skills - must have the ability and drive to meet deadlines!
  • Enthusiasm to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Loan Origination Systems or related.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday and on rotating Saturdays:

    • Monday-Friday between 8:30 AM- 6:00 PM
    • Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM




    Compensation:

    The salary range for this role is $20.16 - $30.24 per hour. This role is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity. A specific salary offer considers factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
