SUMMARY

We are seeking
a skilled CNC Saw Operator to cut various steel products. The ideal candidate
will have experience working in a Machine Shop environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate various types of saws to cut materials according to specifications
  • Retrieves required materials from storage using a forklift and completing corresponding material issue documentation.
  • Record heat treat lot numbers on work order.
  • Identify remaining material that is usable and return to proper storage.
  • Set up and secure cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect work areas for hazards and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspection of saws and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Document work completed and report job progress.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum One (1) year in a Machine Shop environment.
  • Experience operating a Forklift.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &
ATTRIBUTES

  • Ability to read blueprints and a tape measure.
  • Must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Willingness to work overtime and work irregular hours if needed.
  • Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Ability to wear PPE, including hearing protection, eye protection, and steel toe shoes/boots.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
