Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst II

Location: 1114 Ave of Americas, Floors 46, 47, and 48, New York, NY 10036

*Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from The Trade Desk, Inc. office in New York, NY.

Job Duties: Identify and analyze external advertising intelligence data to understand market share trends and make recommendations for Trade Desk to increase market share. Evaluate the success of new releases using data and related KPIs and collaborate with Product subject matter experts to develop Key Performance Indicators to measure the outcome of product releases and make information available for relevant stakeholders. Develop and maintain dashboards in production environment to enable information sharing at scale for stakeholders. Responsible for providing benchmarking insights by geography and industry. Responsible for proactive analysis of The Trade Desk products and features to inform product development initiatives. Respond in a timely manner to ad hoc requests for data and quick turnaround analyses for stakeholders including automation of data collection/reporting and benchmark insights by geography and industry. Responsible for gathering stakeholder requirements, collaborating with the Engineering Team to develop the right datasets and build relevant dashboards. Assist in defining requirements for the data pipeline to incorporate large datasets from multiple data sources to support report development.

Salary: $141,170 - $170,600/year

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Business Intelligence, Economics or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have four (4) years of experience with: data extraction tools including writing and modifying optimized code in SQL; data visualization including understanding requirements, building mockups, and delivering dashboards to answer business questions; data analysis including triaging business questions, extracting, and analyzing data, and providing insights to commercial leadership to influence business outcomes; project delivery including performing cost estimate evaluations for well-defined projects, and managing stakeholder expectations in a scrum team; and presenting data stories using PowerPoint presentations and dashboards. Must have three (3) years of experience with: big data tools and manipulating large datasets with optimal coding; and programming languages to extract, analyze and load data.

CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC residents only: In accordance with CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
