Overview

VTG is looking for a Strategic Planning Manager in Chantilly, VA.


What will you do?

As a member of the program's Enterprise Planning and Management team, you will directly support office leadership to assist them in developing, executing, and refining corporate plans, roadmaps, and processes to enable strategic and tactical objectives of the organization. The program supports a range of functions to include strategy development, enterprise architecting, portfolio management, policy development, and governance facilitation and assessment.
Your day-to-day activities will include development of white papers, technical roadmaps, briefings, concept of operations, and similar work products across a wide range of IT service and systems engineering topics. You will develop and review management plans and requests for change (RFCs) and respond to technical actions from leadership. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders to elicit, understand, and represent numerous equities in your work products. You will develop executive-level communications and correspondence with a high degree of comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness of written information. You may also be asked to support enterprise-level activities such as strategy development, investment management and planning, and project management functions.

Do you have what it takes?

Required qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance, with Poly.
  • NRO experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • MS with 10+ years or BS with 12+ years of demonstrated performance related to the tasks above.
  • Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact / communicate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues.
Desired qualifications:
  • Working knowledge/understanding of NRO IT services and architectures.
  • Experience consulting and developing business cases for customer's use in determining way forward in addressing capability planning and investment.
  • Working knowledge of SIGINT.
