Serves as the FedEx Freight leader responsible for developing and implementing the organization's information security strategy and program. The primary goal is to protect the organization's information assets and technologies from cyber threats and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data. Provide leadership, development and growth opportunities for a dynamic information security team. Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and risk tolerance. Develop and implement strategies to protect sensitive information. Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of education programs and incidence response protocols for team members. Collaborate across business, legal, compliance, and operational teams to embed secure-by-design practices and deliver business-aligned protection. Evaluate and manage vendor risk across cloud providers, telematics systems, TMS/WMS platforms, and third-party logistics partners Serve as the primary liaison for cybersecurity audits, risk assessments, and regulatory examinations Oversee compliance with SOX, GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, and transportation industry-specific cybersecurity guidelines. Develop, test, and lead incident response and business continuity plans in collaboration with legal, communications, and executive teams Direct security architecture planning and reviews to ensure infrastructure and applications are secure-by-design. May assume additional areas of responsibility as needed. Oversee administration and execution of key enterprise programs as assigned by the CEO Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
