JOB SUMMARY

The Vice President of Global Human Resources (HR) provides dynamic leadership and guidance to the organization's global HR operations. The role is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals. This role fosters a high-performance culture and drives initiatives in talent management, talent acquisition and organizational development across all regions.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the following global HR functions:
  • Global talent acquisition, onboarding and retention strategies
  • Leadership development and employee engagement programs
  • Annual compensation reviews, incentive plans and award programs
  • Benefits offerings
  • HR annual budget
  • Researches, develops, and implements employee engagement, diversity, and performance review programs.
  • Analyzes, develops and/or modifies benefit programs to ensure market competitiveness
  • Support executive team with HR corporate strategy and implementation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of this job.

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation
  • Must have a proven strength in employee relations and recruiting
  • Strength in building, establishing and maintaining working relationships with management and employees.
  • Considerable knowledge of policies and practices of US based and international human resources administration; thorough knowledge of employee classification, compensation and benefits, recruitment and selection.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze comprehensive reports; ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion.
  • Thorough knowledge of USA federal, state and local laws governing regarding equal employment opportunity and general employment law.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively administer HRIS/ATS/Performance Management system and have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP or global HR certification strongly preferred
