Hallmark Media is entertainment's leading destination for feel-good movies & series. We operate three cable networks - Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, and Hallmark Family - as well as Hallmark +, a subscription streaming service. Collectively, we feature an ambitious slate of new, original movies, scripted series, and the popular annual holidayfranchise, Countdown to Christmas.

SUMMARY

Works with the Brand Production and Operation Department to coordinate communication and logistics for all Brand Productions inclusive but not limited to on-location photo galleries for key art and stills for the Publicity Dept., on-location video content capture (social media, promo, behind the scenes, and other usage), ad sales and promo shoots with in-house team members and outside vendors to identify needs and produce assets accordingly. Must have a clear ability to think outside the box, working knowledge of how film, commercial, EPK, and Photo Gallery productions work, and meet multiple concurrent deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Participates in film producer's call to establish content capture shoot dates during production for photo gallery, social media and EPK crews.





  • Hires video crew or photographers for photo galleries, events, and promo shoots.





  • Sends out memos to production, talent, talent reps, and internal teams.





  • Schedules calls with photographer, social producer or field producer, in-house creative and outside creative agency to discuss the shoot creative and logistics.





  • Coordinates with production to procure call time, props, wardrobe, and location for content capture days on set.





  • Arrange travel and accommodations for crew.





  • Acts as liaison between hired crew and production team during gallery shoot day.





  • Writes, tracks and archives shoot reports.





  • Works closely with the Sr. Director of Production to coordinate promo, content capture and ad sales shoots.





  • Ensures photo assets are on-brand and delivered to Hallmark Media production standards.





  • Track and organize upcoming shoot schedules.



Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS




  • Minimum 2-4 years in relevant entertainment experience.





  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite.





  • Ability to travel (domestic/international) extensively and work long hours as needed and adapt quickly to changes.





  • Willing to work from office or remotely as required.





OTHER REQUIREMENTS




  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills.





  • Strongly prefer previous experience in film/TV production, but bonus points if you have experience in both physical production and at a studio, network or agency.





  • Ability to communicate needs and represent client during gallery and content capture shoots on set during high-pressure situations with actors, photographers and crew.





  • Must be able to work well independently but isn't afraid to seek help if a problem arises.





  • Multi-tasking many details of a high-paced workload while maintaining a strategic and organized workflow.





  • Must be able to work within budget and deadline parameters.





  • Must be comfortable working under tight deadlines and pressure.





  • Must be able to handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines.





  • Demonstrates an ongoing desire to keep updated on the latest trends in creative craft and technical skills.





  • Basic knowledge of photo/design composition is a plus.





  • Basic knowledge of production workflow is a huge plus.





  • Has the ability to showcase diplomatic skills in the face of the unpredictable; responds with a "can-do" attitude to tight-turnaround deadlines.





  • Must have a valid passport and driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.





The hourly range for this job is between $21.01-$27.99. Hourly rate will take into consideration several factors including location.
