Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding aPhysician Assistant - Plastics / Hand Surgery to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties, including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers. Opportunity Details:

• The successful candidate will help and coordinate a busy hand surgery practice.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Conduct preoperative patient assessments to ensure readiness for surgery.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during surgery.
• Perform wound closures, including suturing and applying dressings.
• Provide postoperative care, including monitoring complications and changing dressings.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Participate in clinical rounds and patient consultations.
• Document patient interactions and clinical procedures accurately in medical records and assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Facilitate continuity of care in the in-patient setting and upon discharge after surgery.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA.
• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**,which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
