Bring your creative spark to three one-of-a-kind hotels where history, design, and hospitality converge. We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to craft compelling content, shape vibrant online communities, and elevate the digital presence of our boutique and branded properties. This role offers the rare opportunity to lead social media strategy for three unique destinations-all with their own stories and audiences.
You'll oversee digital storytelling for:
- Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront, a dynamic all-suite hotel set along the Rock River featuring two restaurants, a rooftop bar, 160 guest rooms, an expansive conference center, and over 30,000 square feet of event space
- The Brewhouse Inn & Suites, a nationally recognized historic hotel in Milwaukee's Brewery District, offering industrial-chic style, modern suites in a former brewery, and a top-rated onsite restaurant
- The Stella Hotel & Ballroom, a full-service boutique hotel in downtown Kenosha that blends 1900s architecture with modern design, featuring 80 rooms, event spaces, a ballroom, a cafe, and a vibrant food and beverage program
Job Duties:
- Develop and execute strategic social media plans for all three hotels to grow brand awareness and engagement
- Create, curate, and schedule captivating content (video, photo, and written) across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X
- Film and edit short-form video content that brings each property's personality to life, including behind-the-scenes moments, guest experiences, and events
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to build loyal digital communities
- Analyze platform metrics and audience trends to optimize content and drive performance
- Partner with marketing, sales, and events teams to support campaigns and drive bookings
- Manage paid promotions and boosted content to reach key target audiences
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- At least 1 year of social media experience, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle industries
- Proven ability to create and edit dynamic video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with an eye for brand tone and visual cohesion
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is a plus
- Experience using social media management and analytics platforms
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
