Are you a creative thinker who knows how to make a brand come alive online? We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to take the reins on digital storytelling for three unique hotels-each with its own style, audience, and story to share. If you're passionate about content creation, love experimenting with video, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is your chance to shape the voice of some of the Midwest's most distinctive hospitality experiences.
This position supports:
- Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront, an all-suite hotel on the Rock River with 160 rooms, two restaurants, a rooftop bar, gaming room, pool, and over 30,000 square feet of event and conference space.
- The Brewhouse Inn & Suites, a one-of-a-kind hotel in Milwaukee's Brewery District, blending preserved historic architecture with upscale, industrial-chic suites-recently named one of Conde Nast Traveler's Best Hotels in the Midwest.
- The Stella Hotel & Ballroom, a restored 1900s-era boutique hotel in downtown Kenosha featuring 80 guest rooms, a grand ballroom, stylish restaurant and cafe, and flexible meeting and event spaces.
Job Duties
- Create and manage unique social media strategies for each hotel to drive engagement and awareness
- Produce short-form videos and visual content that captures the energy of events, guest experiences, hotel amenities, and team culture
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X
- Actively monitor and respond to audience engagement across all platforms
- Analyze post performance and audience insights to fine-tune content strategy
- Collaborate with hotel and marketing teams to support promotions and campaigns
- Manage paid ads and boosted posts to reach targeted audiences
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
- At least one year of hands-on social media experience, ideally in hospitality, travel, or lifestyle
- Demonstrated ability to film and edit engaging video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Excellent writing skills and an eye for visual storytelling
- Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, plus social media scheduling and analytics tools
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple brands
