Consider joining the amazing team at Scholarship America, where we're hard at work creating brighter futures for students-and growing our impact so we can do even more.

We are seeking a technically skilled and creative AI Marketing & Content Manager to lead campaign development, digital automation, and brand-aligned content creation across platforms. This role will own the execution of high-impact email and web campaigns using HubSpot and other CRM/marketing automation platforms, integrating AI tools to enhance personalization, efficiency, and top-of-funnel performance.

Reporting to the AVP of Marketing, the ideal candidate combines hands-on experience with HubSpot (required) and cross-platform marketing automation fluency (preferred), deep familiarity with AI marketing tools, and ownership of brand presentation on our WordPress-managed website. This is a high-impact, technical role focused on automation, optimization, and content performance-not generalist marketing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Plan and produce email, web, and social campaigns using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Writer.com) to scale content creation and drive lead generation.
  • Lead and execute social media content and posting.
  • Incorporate AI for dynamic content generation, personalization, tone optimization, and testing.
  • Stay current with AI trends and recommend adoption of emerging tools to enhance digital outreach.
  • Design and manage intelligent marketing workflows in HubSpot, including segmentation, lead scoring, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Collaborate across teams to build nurture journeys and campaign infrastructure that reflect audience behavior and engagement.
  • Lead day-to-day updates, campaign integration, and content optimization on ScholarshipAmerica.org, which is built on WordPress.
  • Ensure brand fidelity, UX consistency, and timely updates across all web properties.
  • Create high-quality copy and visual assets for use in campaigns, landing pages, social media, and marketing collateral using Canva and complementary tools.
  • Maintain a well-organized asset library aligned to audience segments, campaign types, and organizational priorities.
  • Implement A/B testing and data-driven iteration across content types and channels.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or martech, with a strong record of applying automation and AI to drive campaign performance.
  • Deep experience with HubSpot, including workflows, segmentation, forms, lead scoring, and reporting dashboards.
  • Demonstrated use of AI marketing tools (such as, but not limited to, ChatGPT, Jasper, Surfer SEO, CopyAI, or others) to streamline content creation and improve engagement.
  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress, including content updates, UX management, and plugin use.
  • Proficiency with Canva for asset creation across campaigns, web, and social media.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio demonstrating high-impact content for diverse professional audiences.
  • Proven ability to learn and integrate additional CRM and marketing platforms as needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • HubSpot certifications (Inbound Marketing, Email Marketing, Marketing Automation)
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO tools, and HTML/CSS
  • Experience managing digital assets in a mission-driven or cross-sector environment
  • Bachelor's degree
