Job Title: Equipment Operator - Ash Flat (Batesville Transfer Station)

Location: Batesville, AR

Starting Pay: $20.00/hr. | Weekly Pay

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Start Time: 7:00 AM | 10+ Hour Days

First Saturday of Every Month: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Summary:

Waste Connections is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Batesville Transfer Station in the Batesville, Arkansas area. This position is ideal for someone with experience operating an excavator and who is safety-focused and reliable.

What You'll Do:

• Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and mange solid waste at the transfer station
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptly
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation
• Follow all safety procedures and operational protocols
• Support team needs and step in wherever needed to keep operations moving

What You Need to Bring:

• 2+ years experience operating excavators
• A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
