Description
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) seeks to hire a Casino Regulatory Manager assigned to the Plainridge Park Casino in Plainville, MA. Under the direction of the Gaming Agents Division Chief, this position is responsible for the direction and review of the activities of the Assistant Casino Regulatory Manager (ACRM) and the Gaming Agents at a licensed gaming facility. The individual will be responsible for establishing and maintaining professional relationships with the operators and managers of the casinos, and for maintaining constant communication with the Gaming Agents in their assigned casino. The Casino Regulatory Manager will also work closely with state and local law enforcement agencies. This individual will oversee regulatory investigations and the preparation of complex, detailed reports. The Casino Regulatory Manager will work closely with the ACRM and Compliance Coordinator to establish regulatory oversight through operational reviews, inspections, and assessments. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is responsible for the implementation of the expanded gaming law (Chapter 194 of the Acts of 2011) and regulatory oversight of G.L. chapter 23K (casino gaming), chapter 23N (sports wagering), and chapter 128A (horse racing). Under these laws, the Commission is tasked with establishing a regulatory framework for the solicitation, licensing, taxation, and oversight of a maximum of three casino licenses and one slots parlor only license, the provision of in-person and digital sports wagering, and the live and simulcasting of horse racing in Massachusetts.
