JOB SUMMARY The Quality Supervisor for the Cardiovascular Service Line plays a critical role in supporting quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and program development across the department. Working in close partnership with the Director of Operations and other clinical and administrative leaders, this position provides oversight for quality-related initiatives, data auditing, certification processes, and specialty program support. The Quality Supervisor serves as a connector across teams and settings, helping bridge ambulatory and inpatient care to ensure a seamless patient experience. This individual supports and supervises staff involved in quality, programmatic, and educational functions and plays a key role in the ongoing evolution of best practices, regulatory readiness, and service line excellence. 4 years experience in healthcare preferably with quality, clinical program development, or related field and Previous experience as an RN
- Licenses and Certifications

JOB DUTIES
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and data/analytics teams to obtain, audit, and interpret quality data for use in program evaluation and performance improvement (PI) efforts.
- Lead or support PI projects based on outcome data, national benchmarks, and strategic priorities.
- Attend quality-related committees, workgroups, and meetings, translating key findings into actionable steps for the cardiovascular team.
- Identify trends and gaps in clinical outcomes, workflow, or documentation, and work with stakeholders to implement improvements.
- Provide support and oversight to nurse coordinators and other staff involved in specialty programs (e.g., structural heart, mini-invasive, vascular).
- Help develop and maintain structure and workflows for existing and new specialty programs, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
- Participate in the supervision, development, and support of quality, education, and programmatic staff within the service line.
- Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and innovation within the quality and program teams.
- Policy, Evidence-Based Practice & Documentation
- Participate in the development, review, and implementation of clinical policies, order sets, consents, and patient education materials to ensure alignment with current evidence and regulatory standards.
- Lead or assist with documentation standardization and optimization initiatives across the service line.
- Support ongoing education around new practices, documentation expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the planning, application, and maintenance of service line certifications and accreditations.
- Coordinate data collection, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration needed for successful certification surveys and annual reporting.
- Maintain awareness of changing regulatory standards and incorporate them into workflows and documentation as appropriate.
- Act as a liaison between inpatient and ambulatory cardiovascular teams to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care across the continuum.
- Collaborate with departments such as nursing, IT, compliance, informatics, education, and external vendors to ensure aligned service delivery and program implementation.
- Support cardiovascular service line strategy by contributing to service development, care transitions, and best-practice alignment across sites of care.
